A preview of my layout coming up in the July issue of CTT

Here in Central Wisconsin we woke up to an inch of wet sticky snow this morning. All surfaces except for roadways and sidewalks were covered with the stuff again. Its enough to make a person want to hop on one of the streamliners passing through the Blueboard Central Division of American Flyer Lines.
There has to be a place that’s warm and spring-like. I know I’d like to watch all that snow and wintery landscape just disappear into the distance from one of the observation cars.
Spring and warmer temps will have to make their appearance at some point but until then I’ll just have to dream about traveling to warmer greener places. Hmmmm, maybe even a visit to that place in the travel brochure that I saw the pictures of… Ping Pong Plains or maybe even The Flamingo Road would help
Scott, Great pics, can’t wait to see the July CTT.

Latest MTH release

Thanks alot!! Yeah it is a nice engine, not perfect but nice. I tried to repair its original outer boilerfront but no luck so I just took the two marker jewels out of that part and put them on the reproduction, and it looks alot better now. I am sorry if it’s fuzzy.
Awesome layout, cant wait till that issue!!! I have never seen tinplate style trains on a hirail layout before, it looks nice!!!
SCOTT, U DA MAN!!! GREAT PICS. Gotta see the layout in CTT.

Spent the weekend doing a few things on the layout. Finally got up enough courage to cut the access hole in the middle of the layout. Geez that was scary. I also got some people back from my sister. She is a Dentist and did a great job super detailing these people. Here is a an early look at some seedum trees I have in progress.

My layout is only in a 9 by 9 space…A little 5 rail fun:
