Happy Mothers Day
yes…HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
How Hard is it to catch the Joker ?
Great pictures everyone !! Hope all the Moms have a nice Mothers Day too !!
Here’s an engine that came into our yard the other day on the way to The Newburgh & Southshore RR, somewhere west of Cleveland.
Here’s the other side !
Thanks, John
Spankybird : it must be pretty hard to catch “That Joker” !! I looked up a minute ago & there went by Batman highrailing it with a whole bunch of crime fighting materials !! [(-D]
Thanks, John
No time for any layout progress this week:
Frank53 - is that 0-8-0 of raymans a tribute to you…?
csxt30 - that GP9 (or GP10?) appears to be in good shape. Any idea of its lineage?
SPANK - if they can get the JOKER to turn into that MCDONALDS drive-thru line, they’ll nab him for sure![(-D]
Connolly - NICE WORK…and [#welcome]
Fife : no I really don’t know the lineage of that Geep, other than it was sold to that Newburgh & Southshore RR . It got set out at our shop for a bad wheel but then we Ok’d it to go. It is in real good shape though !
Thanks, John
That’s a honey of a shot right there:
csxt30 - I think that bell bracket on top would be a good clue. Which fallen flag used to mount their bells in that location…?
I went to the old B&O roundhouse in Cleveland yesterday. Here are a couple of pics I took. They are having a public open house today and next Saturday from 1 to 5.
Check out thier website www.midwestrailway.org

Greeting, Happy Mothers Day !
In celebration of Mothers Day, cleaned the train room
wow great pics everyone…wonderful layouts…the detail is wonderful…
had a quetion about this one…the caboose is very nice… lovely red…
what happened to the round house
Amtrak F40PH diesel by K-Line.
Pulling out from Jasper’s Rock
The guys working trackside have quite a view:
Really nicely detailed with working ditch lights & strobes.
I always liked these. At least there was some sort of effort at the old “cab unit” look.
With 3000 hp under the hood and a top speed of over 100mph they were quite capable locomotives.
A single unit F40PH handling an average train by itself was a common sight.
Photo from Norteast Railfan:
Everything works and she runs well.
Yet another reason to miss K-Line.
amazing …i really like the amtrak stuff… they will definatly make an apperance on my layout…down the road sometime…very nice…the detail is very cool…
Great pictures, Guys. I enjoyed them.
**Don…**The Heralds look good. Add a nice touch to Train Room.
