Sturgeon-Phish, I purchased my first American Flyer piece yesterday at the train meet at the Minnesota Fairgrounds. I believe its a #234 train station. I’ll post it over on the AF thread to get some info on it. In the meantime, here are my two summer projects. Restoring the Lionel Jr. Hiawatha set.
And rewiring and wheeling my 262.
Spanky a few of your photos aren’t showing.
Some new pics
Here is some of my recent purchases. A local raifan is in front of the new 137 station taking pics of the B.L.T. caboose. Sorry though, I just could not get the gold lettering to show up. Ths is an U.S.T.T.C. Terminal Railroad #4oo.
RJ, I like your choice in projects. You can’t have enough Lionel Jrs. and 262’s on a layout.
A Hafner key wind Union Pacific M-1000.
An AF 3116 pulling freight.
Nice pics everyone.
No pics from me as I’m in the middle of rebuilding my layout. Decided to spend my tax rebate on lumber
and trains so I can run two trains at once, two simple ovals with the outer loop having a yard. Will post pics as it progresses.

We spent the day in Pittsburgh today. It’s my daughters birthday Tuesday. Looking out her front room window of her apartment I had to take a picture of this going by.

Nice DOUG,

Great pics guys, love that Flyer and those famous Coal Cars (troublesome trucks from KP) and plymouth, nice buildings and outside tracks! BB sure is a Good Dog!
Doug: I’m honored, and humbled.
Phish - Love that version of the FROSTY BAR. Almost picked one up at YORK, til much closer inspection revealed that the aluminum counter was actually painted silver. I’ll keep looking…
Thanks to those who posted pics this week.
Laz, those cars are a special edition. [;)] Need a bit more weathering though. I’m stunned at the quality of the little Plymouth - looks almost narrow gauge next to Thom and his friends.

Thanks! The plated counter is tougher to find. I actually got the Bar with the plated counter cheap because of a chipped roof and then bought another regular Bar with a good roof and swapped them. I’m trying to find some room on my layout for the Frosty Bar, things are getting tight. Expansion my be in order!

[:-^] __TellyawhatI’mgonnado…__The city fathers of the CUMBERLAND EXTENSION have just the piece of real estate you may be looking for. We could errect it in the downtown shopping district, until said time when you are ready to place it on your pike. Now, I’m not sure what kind of permits, building variances, jewelry purchases, you might need for your expansion, but I assure you, your FROSTY BAR would be in good hands until you are ready for it.
There.
Always glad to help.
Watta Guy! Thanks! I’ll consider it[:-^]
