Here is the newly refinished 586 wayside stations with the fillers for around the track

Without

With fillers

And with people

Have fun

Jim

Nice job with the fillers, Jim. They look to be quite the busy place after they were populated.

I spent an hour or so putting together a bit of Plasticville and K-Line buildings and trying to figure out how to arrange them. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:

The green Cape Cod in this picture will probably get moved, as I want to put a milk platform on the siding next to it:

A 3656 stockyard will go on this siding, much to the chagrin of the owner of that ranch house:

J White

This set is made by Williams. It is about 5 years old and belongs to one of our OTTS members.

And here is a short video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBNpKd2jTjQ

I finally finished my first scratch built freight platform.

The idea is that it should resemble a freight platform that was added to an older (unused) milk platform.

Kurt

Westbound freight on the B&A. Mixed consist of boxcars and empty tank cars.

Further up the line. K-Line B&A Berkshire #1426 on the outskirts of Mansfield at the grade crossing. Car in tow started as an undecorated Atlas. Painted and lettered using Clover House dry transfers.

Here is the 35th anniversary collector’s blinking light billboard of my LHS that they had a run of made. I’m finding it fun to mix the new and old together.

Nice fillers, Jim SP! Cool williams train and that video was nice. J White, nice job on the plasticville. Nice pics, Dave and J.T. - I really like that sign! Kurt - OUTSTANDING! That platform turned out GREAT!

Greetings folks,

I thought I would take a break from doing yard work and add a few pictures to the thread. Nice job on those 586 wayside stations Jim. They look just like the originals. Great pictures everyone.

It looks as if streamlined passenger service is coming to the Blue Board Central Division of American Flyer Lines. We weren’t expecting this kind of passenger service for many years to come up here in the north woods.

They look kind of pretty sitting at the station. Lots of town folks can’t wait to get a chance to ride on them.

These are Flyer’s O gauge streamlined passenger cars 1621-G (coach) and 1622-G (observation). They were cataloged from 1936-1938. and came with the Hudson. This 3 car set in green was available in 1938.

Its nice to see that folks are putting in time on their hobbies other than gardening and lawn mowing at this time of the year.

Here are a few more from our trip to Minnesota.

A nice 0-8-0!
