Action on the S&Y RR

Nice pics guys, thanks!

Hi Folks,

I was at Trainfest in Milwaukee on Saturday. I wish I had been able to stay for both days. Its a great show with lots of layouts and vendors if you ever have the opportunity to attend.

I took some photos of my favorite layout while I was there and I thought I would share them.

Each year the display is put up by a dedicated group of Standard Gauge enthusiasts.

The fellow on the right is Dave Corbett who had his layout featured recently in CTT, and front and center is the recently released (or from the looks of that packing cage perhaps I should say “captured”) Brute. Its pretty impressive in person.

Sorry for the blurry picture.

Here are a few more from around the dispaly.

Great photo’'s everyone!! I don’t have anything new to add but I will post a few older shots.

Paul

Great pics everyone !

Friday I had the Chessie GP15’s hauling the K-Line 4Bay Hoppers, and the RI GP7 handling the ore car duty.

As part of the pre-opening housekeeping chores I was crawling around on the layout, unfortunately by the time I was finished it looked as though Perry’s T-Rex had payed us a visit.

Serows1: Paul…Nice layouts (Trains AND Tools) [:)]

Paul,

You did a good job of making the third rail go away, especially on the shot with the NH engines.

Jim-Your 332 is beautiful!!! A piece I am still trying to aquire! Very nice find! I’m sure you will get her running easily.

Jim,

There was a great selection of Flyer at the show. It was like a dream with most of the rare pieces having multiple examples available. Beautiful boxed 342s, several 314AWs, five large motor 336s, and a lot more. I couldn’t believe my eyes, and I wish I could have taken pictures. There was one other 332AC besides this one, and it was also $400.
