Thanks for the compliments Buckeye. And those poles sure look great on your layout! I will have to stop by and see the whole layout.
Nice photos guys.
Walt - you will have to provide the story behind the dates on the tunnel portal.
Roy
Buckeye, I over reacted to the situation. Sorry, to you, Jonadel, and pigseyes.
Nitroboy, from those photos, the poles look great. Nice job
Colin, here is a noval idea, post pics of YOUR trains. [;)]
[#ditto]
Colin, lesson well learned. Things might make you mad but wait a few and then post if necessary. Usually come out better. I see some jerks post on here but I let some things slide so “we” don’t get the reputation of being a bunch of jerks like another forum or two. Also, you need to take the “heat”, laugh and then give some back at the right time. This is friends joking and not real “war”.
Terrific Photo’s Everyone! PbjWilson- Nice photo’s of your Grandson Enjoying the Trains. They are a classic. Reminds me of when I was his age.[:)] Looks like he has plenty of fun at your house. Colin- Go ahead and post some photo’s of your Trains. Just keep in mind what the Chief just posted above.
I’ll have some cool photos by next week when tracks start going down outside.
In meantime, I discovered a neat spiking tool that’s probably better than the spiking tool sold by micromark.
It’s a Stanley Max Grip with several cool features (pictured below):
Great rubber grip
Jaws are tilted for easier handling
Grip teeth go crosswise so that there’s a perfect groove to hold the spike or homemade spike from staples so it won’t move fore or back or left or right.
Second photo is how I built some of my doors, using a template. I’ll have all photos in about a week.
i am waiting for a digital camera. My mom is getting one, so I will use that one most likely
tmcc man,
please dont directly link to my LV diamond.

Scot

Pics of the two kinds of trees that are on my layout.
Its great to have a webcam now, just with the quality was better. [:D]
That is what I will have to get. A webcam!! Jerry, they all look like postwar to me except the one red/black PRR caboose. Am i correct?
Yes Colin, you almost got it right. The only non PW stuff I have now is my lionel brown PRR boxcar, the Red Williams boxcar, the blue and green Williams gondolas, and of course, the red caboose.

Scott, sorry about that. I got it from google.
thanks Colin!
I appreciate you removing that photo…
while you are at it, technically you shouldnt be linking to that C420 photo either! [;)][B)]
that isnt my photo, or my server, but it is someone’s…
directly linking to images on someone else’s server, without permission, is called “hot linking”…and its also called “bandwidth theft”
and yes, it is really theft…it is stealing bandwidth, which costs people real money.
