Sunday Photo Fun 11-9-08

We are getting ready for our Holiday Open House at museum on Dec 6, so the Christmas displays are being set up.

Looks great

Tom,

Are thoos Lemax accys, they look pretty good! Great Pics

Hey, here’s my first video on youtube - they are videos of my newest train toy - A-5 Switcher I ordered back in March I think? Both are only a couple minutes total. You might want to turn down your sound. My camera adjusted the sound up even when I turned it down. At one point I turned off the sound and you can really hear how much noise is coming just from that fasttrack.

One is Lemax (the Christmas tree lot) and two are Dept 56.

The B&O at Girard:

Lionel GP-30, which it turns out can handle O27 curves after all

Williams Class J

Since I’ve determined that my “big” locos handle O27 okay - I’ll be adding this “temporary” layout to the bigger layout I have in the works, rather than scrap everything I’ve already done (of course it’ll mean hiding my wiring and adding some other figures than “Hero-Clix” to the population…)

Running a little behind today

Looking at the layout from an angle I’ve not posted before

Have fun

Jim

Brutus:

Thanks for the U-Tube videos. First time I’ve heard all that railsounds stuff - interesting.

Also enjoyed all the other posts. Phish, I even recognized a building we have in common (and I have very few - it’s that little 2 story gray and brown dispatcher’s tower).

One of these days I’ll start throwing a pic or 'tube out there myself.

NICE PICS GYZ.

BRUTUS, nice little engine you have there. I was thinking of getting that at BARRYs Train shop he had offered it to me for about $270. I do like the video, and the sounds of that engine a great. Thanks,
