Good afternoon, Very nice pictures so far with the whole gamut from toy Train to Christmas to Hi-rail. I love them all.

Word had arrived that a car has been dropped on the interchange track in very bad shape after a long journey across the country. The wreck train was sent out in hopes that repairs could be made to enable it to continue it’s trip on back to the left coast and repairs were successful. It was coupled to the wreck train and brought to the main.

It was then coupled to the Pennsylvanian in order to make up for the lost time and continued on it’s way.

After arriving at the Eastern terminus of the BUBB&A, it was transfer to the Sodor Express for the completion of it’s trip to Baltimore.

Dad’s train.

This is in his memory. The Good Lord called him home a year ago today.

Seayakbill - that is a great looking set of #210 Alcos.

Thanks, The Texas Special set was a Christmas present about 50 years ago. Still is a fine running set of Alcos.

Seayakbill - That is the very same set I got for Christmas about 50 years ago!

I was two at the time, so I don’t remember it. I grew up with it though.

I still have the set, and yes it is still running, though the e-unit is sticky. You have a Bosco boxcar or a Frisco?

Lots of good lookin’ pics. Now I know why Kurt has been so quiet. [;)][tup]

Phish - Thank you, Sir.

Great stuff guys - thanks for sharing! 8nT - Your Dad’s train is a real classic.

My set came with the Red Frisco boxcar, over the years I did come up with the White Frisco boxcar and the Orange Frisco boxcar.

Whaddya know. We have identical sets! Mine is a red Frisco boxcar.

John, that Hollywood car burned while it was on the Roseyville Div of the NS. [:-^] Guess Brent did a good job of restoring it. [;)] Great job guz.

From the Ohio Central locomotive stable before the sale.

I believe the New Hope & Ivyland shortline bought this locomotive.

Here are some pics that I just took of what will be a part of this year’s Christmas layout.
