Only one recent project and a small one at that. Replace the dummy coupler on this 70’s era Bachmann 0-6-0 with a Kadee #5 coupler. Now I just need to do some touch ups wlat flat black paint where the bare metal is showing through.
My contribution this week… the red clockwork Marx Commodore Vanderbilt. The pictures were taken on my windup layout that is still under construction, so please forgive my lack of progress…

That D&RGW station shows up a lot on Lionel layouts. It has a very nostalgic look to it that gives it an enduring popularity. I think the prototype is still standing. I would love to go out there and see it someday.

Jack, that is a C & O Berk with railsounds…The PE Berk doesn’t smoke as good as the C & O does, so I switched it out until I can find a smoke unit that is better than the one that Lionel has installed.
