Here’s the tipple I made; 100% metal using 027 rails for the frame, copper, roof flashing and strap iron.

John - We still have them!

Here is this weeks progress.

Finally solved the double truss bridge crossing dilema.

Train crossing under double truss bridge.

AJ enjoying the view from his stool.

I am really excited with how far along I have been able to get in 2 weeks, and I want to take a second to thank everyone in here who has helped my by answer the questions I have had along the way. Have a great day.

All the hoppers and bathtub gons are filled with coal [Bob’s coal loads].

ZWBob - Your layout looks fantastic. I like the shelves in the background too. I’ll get there someday hopefully.

Thank You SK

Nice pictures all. Here’s a few of mine to add to the fun…

Perry,

Great layout. Makes me think of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyworld. Amazing level of detail.

Great pics guys and love the videos. David, I checked out your other 2 videos as well, what’s up with the guy pushing the ore car? It looks really cool! Did I miss a post about that?

Hey John,

I really like the way you did your road surface. Care to give me the scoop on how you did those?

Hi Jim, it was in a post about 3 or 4 days ago titled “YouTube is Easy”.

NICE GIZ, heres my work with the Lizard litter for my layout,

This week I purchased my first ATLAS Industrial Rail Car.

The trucks are die cast. I am still trying to learn how to remove the lumber load. I would like to add simulated tie down strapping. Good quality for a reasonable price.

As promised a few more pics of the Blue Comet.

BTW, I see Lionel has a Blue Comet in American Flyer in the new catalog. Don’t know if it new or not as I don’t normally follow American Flyer, just happened to notice it.

And a pic of the rubber ducky antenna on the CAB1. It seems to work just fine.

I enjoyed everyone elses pictures today.

Laz, Nice ballast job, really improves the layout.

Perry, I always enjoy pictures of your layout.

JOHN JELECTRIC, nice pics of Blue Comet. Like the cat system.

Where did you get the rubber ducky? does it improve reception?
