Lets have some fun [:D] [:)] [8D] [:p]
Tom

Tom, I am always impressed by the variety of vehicles you have.

Nice job Tom. I agree with Roger, you do have a huge assortment of vehicles, and I am as well amazed.

Hi to all
Thats rigth. His collection is very interesting.
Is not the quanty or quality is right toy in the right place.
Good job!! you are an artist.
Andre.

I always enjoy your pics too Tom. If you guys haven’t yet, you should check out his website.

If this works you will be seeing the new (to me. They are 93-94 vintage but new) FM trainmasters that I bought on ebay.

Still trying to figure out why the picture is so big.

Figured it out. I may be old but at least I’m slow!!!

John, nice find. What is the size of your layout?

Answer to Colin’s question,

The old layout, was 6’-8" X 10’ located in what was the rec room when the kids were still home. Made of 4 doors 30" X 6’-8". This winter I added a 12" wide shelf 12’ long to and through the wall to the unfinished portion of the basement. There it connects to a 13’ X 5’ tapering to 4’ layout.

This is the original section.

This is a portion of the shelf.

This is a portion of the new layout extension.

Actually these pictures are not up to date, they were taken during earlier construction. Need to update them.

Good morning train fans.

The local always scares my horses when it comes through.

Hope we never have a spill here

Caught some cows grazing in the right of way

Tim, If that tanker originated in Golden, Co then it could be considered an acceptable spill, but only if we were there with mugs at the ready…[:-^]

John, very nice layout, and the extension is cool too. Nice job.

Good Morning,

Really like those colors

New angle of one of my favorites

Good looking Camel Back

Lumber yard

Working hard even on Sunday

David V.–I think this ballast is a bit too big for your layout

Jon

Some very nice pics.

Scott what type of camera did you use for the interior shots. They are great. I find it hard to get any depth of field with closeups like this.

Sunday morning local heading out.

Scott what type of camera did you use for the interior shots.
I have a kodak digital camera 6.2 megapixels. believe me the pictures were not easy. I shot about 35 pitures to get 3 that I could use. I also used the Kodak sotwear to help zoom in closer after the fact.

Spankybird: I said it before but it’sworth saying again: are you SURE that you only have ONE layout! [;)]

I hadn’t really noticed, until now, just how plain-jane that Iron City SW9 front end really is! I know there’s a simulated grill on the front but it’s hardly noticable. I might have to add an IC decal.

After receiving several nice compliments about the photos I have posted as my layout expansion has progress, albeit slowly, today you can see some real progress. The facing boards have been stained and added to the bench work. I am just about 75 percent complete putting down the 2" blue foam table top. So far so good, which always surprises me.

My Secret Weapon [:D]

Where everything will come together, I hope.

The West End where there will be two double loops to turn the trains around and back East.

Buckeye…That looks good. I can see where you are attaching
the track legs. Keep up the good work.

Pic of my coal breaker that I scratch built. Was modeled after the movie the Molly MaGuires. This movie was filmed in Eckley Pa. about 10 minutes from where I grew up. My late DAD helped build this for the movie so I thought I would build it for my layout.
