Sunday Photo Fun 2/26/06

Oooh! Oooh! Mr. Kotter! Can I go first?!?!

New York Central power on the point:

LIONEL Pennsylvania “Baby K4s” power. An original on the left pulling a train of factory weathered “Turn of The Century” reefers, and the re-make from last year on the right, up-graded with TAS cruise, pulling this year’s PRR Baby Madison cars:

Let’s see yours!

Come on and sing it Spankybird! “12-20 W-G-A-RRRRR! In your home or car!”

Nice pics. everyone! Here are some, of my new Atlas switch tower with the new little HO gooseneck light I added to it and my new WP Caboose, & my NYC cab.

Today it is 99.5 FM Country Radio

But you are showing your age, and yes it is a Cleveland Radio Station.

The other one is WELW, AM 1330

Hey Spankybird…

Why don’t you have a burning river on your layout? That should heat things up![:D]

csxt30,

Love that switch tower. The gooseneck really makes it stand out. Excellent work.

Tom- WELW…POLKA RADIO[:D][:D][:D][:D]

Here are some pics of a finished expansion to my layout

Nice pics GIZ,

Hers my pic of the LIONELVILLAGE in the back with the Southern Crescent getting ready to depart.

laz57

And home of the Captians (single A team of the Indians). BTW - the radio station is walking distance from my house.

Laz : very nice !!
ZW : which water tower do you have ? I just got the # 138, from 1992, has red roof like yours, but from there down on mine seems lighter. Thinking of repainting mine.
SPOUT UP !

SPOUT DOWN !

Thanks,

Nice shots everyone. Alway a joy to see.

Mornin’ All !
Great photos as usual.
zwbob, The first thing I thought of when I saw the photo of the steamer coming out of the the shed was the race horses breaking the starting gate.

For my contribution, this is my Atlas SD-35 making it’s debut. [^]

waiting on the Boston & Albany freight

Texas & Pacific about to depart

Good morning all,

Could spring be in the air??? Saw some swimmers and boaters on the lake this morning.

Dougsagrump, Are you bucking for a membership in OTTS with that engine ?? Does it run as smooth as the Atlas SW 8/9 ??

Tim, It is just as smooth as silk and even though it isn’t the latest version of RS the sounds are great. I grew up in No. Ky and at one time was a fireman for the B&O so I gravitate towards B&O and any/all of it’s various forms in the later years. [^]
After seeing Tim’s boaters and swimmers I thought of something that I have never seen on a layout. The folks who base their layouts on the far northern roads, does anybody ever put an “ice-fishing shack” on a frozen lake?[?]

dougdagrump, that is a very nice SD35. Great pix everybody, very nice job. I want to start a new layout, but have to start raising funds for wider curves, and other things.

Ice Fishing in Spanky’s Cove

I think it’s Chief

Photo of a spur where I have a barn that I scratch built and a Lionel grain tower. Scenery is still in progress.
