the roofing caps were made by paper punch one by one
That’s the kinda stuff I like that’s homemade. I found my table saw very useful for cutting virtually any size lumber I need. Round? I don’t have a lathe so I get sticks and use those. Making a trestle w/sticks, btw.
So much you can do w/a heap of scraps!

Hey Guys. Went to a swap meet and got a 6520 searchlight car in VG condition for $20. teated it, works great. I had a fun time!!!
