This last week with a deep breath and sweat rolling off my forehead, I installed the cruise control in my K-Line Mikado. Here are some photos I took of the insides of the engine before the installation.

The following photo shows the Mikado being tested after the cruise has been installed. Much to my relief it worked and still does work today after several hours of running.

Buckeye,

Good Job!

I have done two myself. Second one was easier than the first.

John, with your new camera you might want to check out this website.

It is for a slide duplicator, it runs $69 + $7 for an adaptor ring. I purchased on of these for my digital last year. Since then I have digitized over 4,000 slides that are just sitting in boxes. I have been able to sort them and put them on DVD’s and given them to various family members. The duplicator works really well. Can take those old slides, crop and zoom the image and endless capabilities evolve.

Scott - great pictures of the Acela
Tom - Is that your layout? Would be interesting to see a birds eye view!
Buckeye - Tremendous close ups!
Walt - Nice layout

I am going to try latter today to see if I can post a couple of pictures.

I should have included this website incase anyone else wanted to see information on this duplicator for any other cameras

Just some random shots today.

Bad night for these folks

Repainted the Lionel switchtower this week, looks much better…Tim

Howdy. A couple of shots of the State of the Table including a Marx 333. I wish I could say it smokes like a bandit but it doesn’t! I might try some megasmoke. I can see several years of fun ahead in getting things up and going. I’m just messing around with non-derailing turnouts for the first time. Pretty nifty.

Jim

Jon, how do you like your BB1’s? I’m looking at getting a pair myself. They look great!

Dwayne.

Working in a STRIP MINE…

laz57

laz, that looks great.

Great pics everyone.

Here’s my batch for this Super Bowl Sunday

Dwayne–

That BB1 is a fantastic addition to my pike and it is one of my favorites. It runs silky smooth, the detailing is just fantastic and it will run on O31. I think it’s a great value considering it’s a Premier.

Jon

PS–if you want, I could take more pics and send them on to you via email–I would love to use my new Nikon D70s for such a worthwhile project!

Tom,laz,John, and others great pictures as always;I always look forward to seeing Sunday-Photo-Fun.

laz, really liked the “Strip Mine”;I’m currently looking to build a “tipple” type mine
for a section of my layout. Having a bit of trouble finding plans for what I need/want.

John (csxt30) if I run across one of those original “Batmobiles”,I’ll remember to
keep you in mind.

Thanks Walt ! I really need to get to making some streets & do some scenery !
Don : thanks for the tip on that slide picture taker ! I think that’s what it is. I clicked on that site & it isn’t available now, though.

Everyone sure has some great photos of their layouts, & is very inspiring !!
Thanks, John

Oh, I did the search & found them, Don. Thanks again !!
