ah, those 70s disco years and flashy paint jobs!

Chessie, the only train chics love too

One of my engines that has been rarely seen by those on the forum.

For the past several weeks there has been a discussion about buying trains on Ebay. This engine was purchased on Ebay and it does everything as advertised, but because of my inexperience with TMCC engines at the time it has one significant flaw, it doesn’t have traction tires to traverse the grades on my RealTrack layout. Magnitraction doesn’t work on MTH track. Now you know. Make sure you read the fine print and know what you are not getting…

The Chessie scheme [8D] was one of the “FEW” successful design statements to come out of the “Disco” era ([xx(] and [:D]) of the seventies!!! [:)]

Last summer my daughter visited Jordan with her high school classmate. The girl’s family is from that area. During her travels, she remembered that I like trains and took a picture of the northern section of the railway that Lawrence of Arabia blew up during WWI.

One of the mechanics left the key in again!

Nope…that’s one of my neighbor babes who is moving to Rosyville, NC, waiting to board the train. She loves to mow lawns, plant tomotoes, and build train tables and I finally convinced her that Chiefie could use her help…
