By the way, have you ever seen the first American 4-4-0

And have you ever seen a steam engine blowing smoke rings?
Look at this one.

A sound card and media software program are need to see the video above.

Nice collection of 4-4-0s Tom.
Enlarging the photos really shows the nice paint schemes.

Here’s my lonely 4-4-0 picking-up some cattle.

Looks great guys. Got to run. Have a good one. Lvoe those photos.

Heads up! For those of you considering getting the two K-Line Bush/Saddam, Bush/Osama cars and OPERATING them, be aware they require AT LEAST a 3 inch clearance, measured from the center rail on both sides, from all structures and accessories on your layouts. Mine won’t fit through my bridges, trestles, etc., and won’t clear the coal loader conveyor and train station buildings; however, they are well constructed, have LOTS of hidden detail on them, sprung trucks, hefty couplers, and the drive mechanism that moves them around the car is silky smooth. Not too bad for $37 each. Just make sure you have room to accommodate the moving figures - I don’t.

Hey Jim!

I hope that train wasn’t still moving as it approached that bridge! [:D]

To those that don’t particularly care for those cars, now you know how to quickly remove the figures from them…(wink)

…save me some coffee!

Several weeks ago, Big Boy put me on to where to get the farm silo pictured in his photo above after a 6-month search. As you can see the hunt was most successful and now Buckeye Bob’s Bicentennial Farm has two silos. [:D][:D] I asked Buckeye Bob to stand by the fence so we could take a photo of his farm. (He won’t be smiling very long when he realizes one of his prize porkers is being run over by a truck.)[xx(]

Thank you very much Big Boy for identifying the make of the silos. This is what this forum does best, providing an individual to gain help when needed. Big Boy if you and Big Girl are in Central Ohio, please look me up so we can eat at Buckeye Bob Evans Restaurant. The treat is on me. [8D]

Great guys. Need a few more photos.

I really think a couple of swans would look right on this “smooth as glass” lake, don’t you? Frank - how about throwin’ some top water plugs in here…think we could get a few hits? I wrote to Marce at Trainsformations to see if she could make some. Stay tuned…

JD

Marty E, you two about to save the train from villians? Jim, bet a top water or a fly would bring up a few. [8D]
