Northern Pacific dropping off some reefers for the Spokane Portland & Seattle

I had this engine at mth for 3 months for a none smoke issue and finally got it back. and got this stack car for my bithday .

Inside is Electric Railroads Command and RS4.0

Buckeye, my friend who owned the railroad we used when making “Fireproof” was a Purdue grad and big time fan. When the Lionel Purdue car came out, I got him one for Christmas. Of course, having that car, he was obligated to go and get a matching loco…yep, Monon BL2. Your photos brought back memories…thanks.

Thanks guys for posting.
Dennis

Dennis…Your friend wasn’t from Michigan with a degree in Agriculture was he? I have two of the Lionel Purdue cars and the Williams Gold and Black caboose to go with the BL2. I searched all over the country for that caboose. Now you can start searching for your friend. [:D]

**BillT…**I really enjoy your SPF pictures because your settings content differ. Whether that be the railroad or the considt theme. This week your pics stimulated a sinful food craving!! [swg] Your pictures always come out clear as can be so that nothing in the detail gets lost.

**Buckeye…**I think you lost your bearings. Isn’t that an Indiana-based railroad? [(-D]

Jack.

As usual, a day late & a dollar short.

These are from last friday. Spent saturday & monday with the “Kid’s Club”, just now beginning to recover.

B&O struttin’ it’s stuff:

Rock Island as well:

All Gauge Group is set-up for a few weeks. One item of interest was a “G” gauge War Bonnet regauged for Standard Gauge track:

Thank you Jack, I try to show the electric trains in a setting that focus on a specific event. In this case, the transfer of reefers between the Northern Pacific and its sister company the Spokane Portland & Seattle.
