Sunday Photo Fun 5-6-07

Saaaaay. That ‘s a swell lookin’ B&O wagontop boxcar, Spank.

Here’s a bit of an overview for a change

nice pics guys. i really like the setup you have there jaspersrock. i cant wait till i get to the point where you are at. ? for you how long did it take you to get to this point.

i didnt get any work done. as you know the family got all my free time. but took some pics of the n scale that i have setup on the layout. trying to figure out how to incorporate it into the layout. i think i’m goning to have to build another level just for that.

Some pics around the coaling tower area

Nice Pictures!!!

Here are some shots of the 600 All Aboard American Flyer set I just got. I’ve not heard it spoke of on the forum, and I thought you would like to see it. I have not cleaned it up yet so it is still a little dusty. I moved some folks from the layout to liven it up some.

That is one cool little layout. What are the dimensions?

Mitch

Great photos guys.

There are 6, 17"x17" panels for an overall of 34"x 51". What is so neat is it came from Gilbert with the houses and tree etc. already in one box. All I “added” from factory was the cars, animals and people. The “All Aboard” system was a good idea. Notice the track, two rail with realistic ties. Paint on the panels is very well done.

Started out in 1998 with just bare wood and some track. I am continuously working on something or some area, refining what I’ve done and tryig new things.

Thanks for sharing, guys. Didn’t skim thru any of your postings.[tup][tup]

REGGIE - That truly is an impressive collection of N-Scale, and I agree that you should/could incorporate them up on a hillside on your layout.

raymans,

I recongnize the coaling tower and I really like the way you added those subtle details. Can I ask how you made the gooseneck lamp?

raymans,
Which coaling tower is that?

Hard to believe that is Plasticville:

dadurling

Those lights are from Miniatronics #72-512-03 a package of three is 9.95

they are the old fashion green and white shades

I twist the wires together and form the shape I want then use CA glue on the wires to keep the shape

Brent

the coal tower is a Plasticville with a few extras added like the pulley system and lamp
