And now the Players take the field
And the Hot Dogs are going Fast
Will there be enough for all ?
Now there will be! ! !
Yes this is a true 1:48 scale Winnermobile. It is truly one of a kind.

Halloween 2005…

Dave:
That is exceptional.
No layout progress this week either - to much real work.
Some recycled photos:

Spankybird, the Weinermobile is very creative, thanks for sharing

Here is the “progress” made this week. An EAGLES eye view shows the track mock up, as well as some of the sub-roadbed starting to take shape. The string of tank cars are on future hidden track. Haystack mountain will cover that area. Trains will emerge just above the 45 degree crossover at “MY” Tower. The Chessie SD40-2 is parked on the revised junction track, which will join the B&O main with the WESTERN MARYLAND.

At this angle you are standing behind the site of the Cumberland AMTRAK station.

Here is the new “helper pocket” between Viaduct Jct and Baltimore St. In the background, you can see where the “blue flag” area is about to be tapped into. The PennCentral boxcar is where the new line will join the old. The tangent of track where the double headed Chessies are will actually cross over the double main.

This a view of the layout that will be unattainable once the scenery goes in. This is Viaduct Junction. The temporary bridge peirs will be replaced by a massive concrete viaduct with multiple arches. Viaduct tower will be next to the switch at left. This photo also gives a nice close up of JOHNSON’S RUBBER ROADBED.
Happy Father’s Day to all. Here’s some new CBQ shots…

Wonderfull photos to all. Sturgeon-Phish, love the AF. Wtih all this talk of Lionel, Fasttrack, ect… I forget about the good old S guage. Your photos make me want to dig out the American Flyer sets when I go home on leave. Have the start of a nice collection going, just need to make a few repairs and get more rolling stock.
Happy Father’s Day !!!
Got a new project underway, #1 priority so any others are hereby banished to the land of “To be Finished Later”. [sigh]
I know, it ain’t three rail but it makes momma happy. If she happy, me happy. [swg]
The area where the plywood currently is located is turning into a real pain. I had planned on using an idea that I had gotten for a trestle from Buckeye some time back but trying to find HDPE lumber out here is almost impossible. For what little I would be ordering it wouldn’t be very cost effective to have it shipped here from the east. Now I think I’ll check out using a big piece of flagstone and some bridge piers to make it look like a dry wash.
Absolutely the LAST resort will be repositioning the retaining wall blocks, hmmmm, I wonder how upset somebody would be if I just turned into a “Bump-N-Go” trolley. [xx(]
