Sorry for the late start, but we had to kick start our DSL today.

I stil trying to kick start myself!

Mark

Hopefully get the plywood today.

3’ gauge East Broad Top #15 last Saturday:

1 1/4" gauge Lionel #221:

tom, mark,

I’m trying to get DSL but they don’t respond to my emails. I’m paying $85 per month for hi speed internet; no tv included or anything and I heard DSL rates are lower

Kinda busy today but invented a new style of tubular track; will try posting photos next Sunday. The tract conducts electric and doesn’t rust (I think), made from metal used to protect corner sheet rock. For about $10 you can make probably 200 feet of rail and it’s more scale than Lionel tubular size wize. I might make some for outdoor rR

I guess I’m lucky Internet Cable here is $43, but when you add in TV and premium channels etc. it gets up there pretty fast.

Hi Dave,

Most of the time our DSL is outstanding. Just every once in a while it acts up. Basic DSL is $19.95 and extra high speed is $24.95 plus your phone line. We have the faster one. It must be all the compatition in the area, Cable, wireless, etc.

Awome pictures! nice layout raymans.

It is with great sadness that I report a serious incident. There was a major collision at the junction. As a result of the collision there were two fatalities, their famalies have been notified so I can at this time release their names. The fatalities at the scene were a Mr. Al I. Gator and Mr Pepe Le Pew, the later not being discovered until the hobos moved their walkway to their campsite.

As a result of the investigation by the Accident Investigation Team the cause of the accident was determined to be operator error and a warrant was issued for the individual. Thanks to a vigilant citizen the perpetrator was caught and the photo of his capture indicates the character of the individual involved.

From my recent exploits in Ocean City, MD. Most Dad,s were out building sand castles for their offspring…AMATEURS!!!

Here’s me and Kelly proudly posing next to my bullet nosed steamer. Even tried to replicate the B&O capital dome on the pilot. Took me over 2 hours. Notice our $29.99 “Bikini Bottom” grass umbrella…stylin’!

…and here were 2 of the inhabitants of “Bikini Bottom”. My little heartbreakers. The boys were circling like flies all week!!!

Nice pictures everyone.

Fife, you should make a sand sculpture business. Fantastic job. I remember a few years back in Avalon, where I stay, a guy made a Ferrari F40. It was pretty nice.

Now usually my best pic goes to spanky, but fife I think you took the cake this week with your pictures, and I dont blame the fellas fer cirlin. Them’s some good lookin ladies. LOL

Great posts, everyone!!! Dougdagump, that scenery and track work is awesome!!!

here’s a couple: My new 3rd Rail P-5a:

Some new Lionel PFE reefers:

Nice pics all,

Oh, and Fife as a father of a two year old daughter, I am definitely seeing the benefits of the burkha.

If I can’t get her to wear one of these then I’m gonna have to figure out how to get her into a Methodist convent.

But then if neither of those two things work there’s always the old fashioned approach.

Fife: You could hardy tell the girls were chained to the anchor under the sand train! Nice cover.

So much for going to the beach to take a nap. You need to be standing watch every minute. Did you growl when the boy’s looked over???

ATSJer: I thought the Mossberg was just for weddings??? Must be a Suth’rn thing keeping that thing out all year.

Kurt

I don’t think he wants to hear that…but yes, they are gorgeous.

Fife, ages?

The Mossberg is more for keeping the varmits away. They only show up at weddings when absolutely necessary.

ATSJer, I have a Mossberg and they are vastly overated. A Remington 870 is a much better choice.

I like the Mossberg because it has the mid-barrel sight, which wasn’t available on the entry level Remington. Plus I got a chance to fire an identical Mossberg while skeet shooting and I really liked the way it handled. The only problem I have is that the aftermarket Mossberg barells are all camo patterned and cost 1/2 as much as the shotgun itself, but other than that I really like it.

Plus when chasing off varmits (racoons, possom, boys etc) it works pretty well.

Colin - 2 young 4 U. (place sound of round being chambered in that 870 Remington here…)

We live at the top of a hill, so the bodies roll down pretty easy…
