Project progress postings (say that 3x fast…).
This is the false-front background of the B&O’s Queen City Hotel & Station. The HO structure was scratchbuilt out of cardstock and construction paper, was very old, and was bound for the dumpster. I installed a new roof of thin styrofoam board, and compressed the front porch to fit in a 3 inch space along my train room wall.
Me posing inside Clinchfield caboose 1072. I just finished painting the interior just in time for its 75th birthday. It took 4 gallons of Sherwin Williams DTM Acrylic “Reclining Green”, which is a match for Seafoam Green used inside diesels and a multitude of railroad equipment.
