Nice pictures of Toms layout !! Here’s a picture of my little fuel depot for my tanker truck !!

Here’s another with my new WP K-line tank car !

Thanks, John

Here are a few pictures of my GG1 and Madison cars.

You’ll have to excuse the dust on the controls. ( you won’t )

Nice fueling station, John.

John, what did you use for fuel tanks? Looks like oil fliters upside down. If so, pretty good idea.

Thanks Chuck & Chief !! Yes, those are oil filters upside down that I haven’t painted yet, & I want to make some piping for them next, too. Look for the filters that are smooth at the bottom.

Nice GG-1 set, Chuck !! [:D][:D]

Thanks, John

Nighttime action in Blackrock:

Also went on a few day trips this week… The Boston Museum of Science had these Standard Gauge and Live Steam models displayed in their “Going Places” exhibit:

…as well as this old textile mill steam engine:

Nice pictures everyone.

I took some pictures of some MOW equipment the past week neer the E-town Amtrack station. Not sure what they are, maybe John or NStrackman can tell us.

Tom’s layout picture showing the over the road steam engine reminded me of some pictures that I took at the fair of a friends models that he had on display.

That is the builder in this picture.

I forgot to ask what the scale is but it is larger than O gauge. My guess would be 3/4" to the foot.

That darn Ghost of Christmases Past came again last night! Three weeks in a row now he’s taken me back to 1999. I do smile though and that’s his point.

Christmas mass in Waltburg:

Walt : won’t be long now, you’ll be seting back up for Chritmass 2006 !! Nice pics !!

Thanks, John

Chuck, Just think of that dust as “custom weathering”, it took a lot of time and effort to accomplish that. [(-D]

Good Morning (or afternoon) all!

Here are some more vidoes of the Lionel Grand Central Terminal layout from the LCCA convention in Denver earlier this year.

NOTE: Sincere apologies - these files are quite large - not for dial up or slow speed connections.

Roy,

Nice videos, I liked the second one best. Very good job at keeping everything in focus, from crossing gate to backdrop.

Great pictures guys. I really enjoy seeing your railroads.

Tom, how many railroads do you have? Every Sunday you post photos of scenes I have never seen before. Maybe I have gotten senile and cannot remember if you have ever photographed that section before. [:D]

There is a problem on your railroad. You see that big locomotive going into that sharp radius turnout?

Tell me that is not an O-27 turnout! That looks like cruelty to locomotives. I think I am going to push the “report abuse” button and turn you in for locomotive abuse.

I was just kidding. Your photos are entertaining and informative. What is that, your Allegheny or Challenger?

OOPS!!![:O][:O]

Wayne, THIS is abuse!!![(-D][(-D]

Jon,

What have you done? That looks like your water tower. No wonder you are going to have to build a new one. Were you able to save any of the hardware?

Wayne, Believer it or not, just two layouts. This is the Allegheny

Great pics and videos! Here’s a pic from the first vision of my Halloween layout last year - we expanded it, but I haven’t gotten around to posting the later pics.

My wife is mad because the buildings at the ends were hers, from Hallmark, and they were going to add another building each year with accessories – she went by the other day and they said it was cancelled and no more sets are coming. The LaGhosti Theatre in the middle was mine - Dept 56.

OK, everything appears to be correct but the photos aren’t opening. [%-)] [|(] [banghead]

Doug,

I used the image command to make picture show directly in this thread. Hope you don’t mind.

I typed [ i m g ] before the link and [ / i m g ] after the link. (Remove spaces)

P.S. Nice picture.

did this help?
