Sunday Photo Fun DST Edition 4-02-06

Good morning one hour earlier! Here is Lionelville as dusk settled last evening around 7-ish. In the distance is the metropolis of Plasticville:

Springtime is when a boys thoughts turn to running his first train set! Mine was the “Western Gift Pak” from the early 1960’s:

Look! Here are some folks showing up to church an hour late this morning:

Let’s see yours!

Great pictures everyone, sunday can’t be complete without Sunday Photo Fun[:)][8D].

Heres some pics of my friends layout that will soon be coming down with his new move into his new house[:(].

His K-line switcher pushing around my K-line NYC smoking caboose, that caboose is awesome[:D]

picked up some Hoppers to go with my Virginian Rectifier

[#ditto]

I always enjoy these weekly photo spreads that you all share with us , thanks .[:)]
Since I am just starting and have no layout ,Yet, and only have one steamer , so far , I look at this steamer often and close up …so I will share a couple of pictures of my steamer , I realize it is low end Lionel , but it does look good really [:)]

[:D]

And my newest diesel , a Atlas RS-1 with all the bells and whistles , in my favorite home road C&EI [:p]

This loco from Atlas has some great detail…

[:D][:D] I actually saw these C&EI locos in use , years ago .[:D]
The Alco RS-1 actually sounds like they did , except for all the doors rattleing also…[:0]

Some videos again today. These are very large files (6 to 11 MB!), so you need a high speed connection to download them.

Lionel Empire State Express with all 7 cars. The loco is a great puller as we have a couple of serious grades on the club layout.

Nice photos and videos!

CCGRC:

Your steamer looks great!

Is that one of the newer “traditional” sized engines? I’d be happy to add one to my lineup.

Birds

a new project I’m working on:

Remember to use Spanky’s constant reminder to click on the picture to enlarge - they look SOOOO much better!

Spanky - lucky thing the police are in the scene in that first picture - he better check on that passed out drunk!!![:D]

If you know North Park in PGH, PA, here’s a model I made of Grant Grove in honor of a special person that I met there. Not the lawn area, just the building, the electric, and the outhouse. If you’re in that area, it’s the grove by the intersection with the cannon. the 2nd grove in.

Got some heavy equipment in to clean it up

All Enjoy…Tim

Good pics fellas. A few photos of my layout.

To answer Birds question , yes , the loco is a traditional 2-8-4 . It came in the SP Overnight set with TMCC . I like it [:)]
