I finally got some shots that include my backdrop.
The upper lines need ballasting.
I wasn’t satisfied with the ballast colors on the finished lower lines, so I chipped it up and vacummed it away. So that track needs to be done again.
As you can see, I’m making progress. I can’t wait 'til I get to the fine scenic detailing aspect. (small weeds, man made items, figures, animals) Ohhhhhhh, so exciting! [8D]
As usual, Aggro, you don’t show photos as much as you show works of art! That’s some really beautiful modelling.
Didn’t take any photos this week, as I’ve ended up doing far more trackwork again, but here’s some that the guys on the Coffee Shop liked, after you all helped me learn how to post. I took them last week–try and take some more this coming week.

A work train doing some switching in Sierra City on the new extension
Close-up of one of my Rio Grande Challengers
One of my Yellowstones taking on water near Yuba Pass
You can’t put pictures like that on the session and then expect evryone to rush putting theirs up. You should start with one not-so-good out-of-focus picture and work up to the good stuff.
Nice work everyone.
Aggro, looking good as usual [tup].
I got my Walthers coaling tower in place and most of the surounding landscape done.
Problem is, I let Nancy’s dad borrow my camera to take on his trip to Pa. I’ll post some
pictures when he get’s back. Good luck, Dave
Carl: GO FOR IT!! Neat photos.
Here’s one I took this afternoon, after I went out and bought a couple of those new Woodland Scenics ‘auto scenes’.
Officer Mezger has just pulled the Mayor’s son over for speeding in front of Ma’s Place, the local–er–‘establishment’ just out side of Sierra City. That’s Ma leaning on the front porch watching everything, while the mayor’s son’s best friend creeps slowly by in his new Ford ragtop.
I am finally in the finishing touches of completing the small Fairbanks-Morse coaling tower that I’ve been working on for the last 3 months off and on. What a project it has been but I’m fairly pleased with the outcome. Once I’m done, I’ll take a few pictures and have some ready for next week’s Photo fun…
Mr Twhite, ohh man those look great ,!!! i love the ara,and you put those all so well ,im working on track again ,im getting ahead of myself with the seenery ,cause ,i still have to put in some electric. to the yards in some places where i layed. ballast to ,he shouldnt be a problem thow, but GREAT PICS <<WANT MORE
Late Post, but better late than never! I had to wait on RailImages to come back alive.
I can see that many of you have been busy and have done some excellent work. It helps me to find the courage to start on my scenery.
I needed a boiler house for my engine service facility and the Model Power Gold Refinery seemed to fit the order. As you can see, I made a few modifications to the otherwise Toy looking kit.
Rex–what a super adaptation! Nice job. BTW, is the roundhouse a kit or scratch? and if a kit, what brand? Looks really good, and I’m going to need one in the future, when I get the next extension built.

Thanks Tom. Sometimes you gotta do, whatcha gotta do. [;)][:D]
The Roundhouse is the Walthers’, 3 stall, #933-3041. It’s a well designed kit and easy to build. 3 stalls fit my needs, but it is expandable to a full circle if you want.
