Sunday Photos - July 5th Edition

This is a new compact, low cost structure I designed with Andre for River Leaf Models. Andre made the prototype:

I take GREAT exception to that 1950 Ford parked by that sleazy joint! My father drove a '50 Ford like that and would have NEVER frequented such an establishment!

Just kidding! Great shots and a nice looking model.

The building. Not the floozy.

How insensitive of me! [:|]

So here are some shots of a second building I designed. Andre just finished the first one:

Ray’s Music Exchange is based on the part played by Ray Charles in “The Blues Brothers”

Now THAT’S impressive too! But where’s Jake and Elwood?

We cobbled the photos together from available resources and had neither Jake nor Elwood figures available. Neal Jeter did find a 1/43 Blues Brothers vehicle from a place called Greenlight Collectibles:

The original “Blues Brothers” movie was on about a week ago. Lady Firestorm and I were shocked when we realized it came out in 1980! Holy smoke, we saw it the week it opened!

Where does the time go?
