Still, this is SunRail (an Orlando-area equivalent to Tri-Rail), which is a basic local service not a mid- or long-distance train, so 140mph trains would be overkill and they’d never get the chance to speed up to those speeds without making passengers very uncomfortable.
Wish we could get some more rail service to Tampa Bay. Hopefully an extension our way is in the not-too-distant -future.
