Its actually the old atlantic coast line. Now known as the CSX “A” line. The old Seaboard line is now the “S” line and runs through ocala and wildwood to the west of Orlando.
Totally ugly.
As a FIG (Fortress Investment Group) shareholder, I am going to urge management to return all Florida East Coast (FEC) locomotives back to the truly outstanding FEC color scheme. The Orlando trains would be neat in Atlantic Coast Line purple and silver, as Champion decreed! The “wave” motif makes me nauseous and they aren’t anywhere near the ocean.
@WILLIAM D HAYS - SunRail isn’t an FEC thing, not sure if that’s what you were implying or not, but in case you were. It’s an Orlando area suburban commuter service.
The mock-ups of All Aboard Florida (the FEC Miami-Orlando train) I’ve seen imply a color scheme not dissimilar to AAF’s website, which is unfortunately not close to the elegant subtlety of color schemes in the past. Hopefully they’ll reconsider.

I don’t believe I said Sun Rail is a FEC thing. Check out my post. Anyhoo, SAL had a neat color scheme, prior to the simple/ugly silver paint job. Orange/lime/tangerine was cool, as was Champion’s purple.
