Super Glue Debonders

Need some help from my forum friends again.

I need some advice on using a CA debonder. I have an engine that I am working on that, after I super glued the hailrails, I discovered that I need to change the cab sides and rejig the front handrails to properly match the prototype. In exploring the available options, I find they come in sprays and point applicator bottles. As I have never used any form of a debonder, I am curious as to which works better and where each kind should be used.

As usual, any help the forum can provide would be welcomed.

I use Acetone to soften Super Glue, test it on something that won’t show before going wild with it.

I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Nail Polish Remover.

I do not know why anybody would bother, I have never had anything stick to or with CA. Most stoopidiest product ever.

Acetone debonds super glue. I have a quart can of the stuff from the hardware store in my shop. Nail polish remover is mostly acetone and will work as well.

Acetone will also attack plastic, so use as little as necessary

If you have sugery, what do you think they use now in many cases.

CA was actually invented for surgical use.
