Standard SD45 with D-D trucks for narrow guage rail. They also have Dash 7 and Dash 9 GEs with B-B-B-B trucks.
EFVM ordered the DDM45’s because they operate on meter gauge but handle North American tonnages. Envision DM&IR in the tropics. They also operate BB40-8’s and BB44-9W’s with the same wheel arrangement. A large number of second-hand C30-7’s, SD40-2’s and SD40-T2’s are operating on other Brazilian meter-gauge railroads and have had their frames extended to handle the B+B-B+B wheel arrangement.
