SuperStreet - any one watch the K-Line/Lionel video?

Saw the video for the first time today and it appears that SuperStreets has built-in blocks on the intersections and grade-crossings! That is super sweet!

Also, on the grade crossing there are two large circular off shoots beside the road bed, I wonder if there are going to be add-on crossing gates in the near future? If so that would be beyond awesome… would be nice if they came out with a two-lane grade crossing also!

Another thing with Super Streets is that you can put two tracks side by side and use the 16 inch and 21 inch curves together, one inside the other.

I have some 10 inch straights and on the underside it looks like I can use spade terminals to power the track, there are sections of metal sticking out just a little to hook up power to, not so on the 5 inch straights. Waiting on the curve track in Super Streets, I want to build a trolley line on my upper level.

Does this mean they are going forward with that product line? When will it be available?

I see the stuff is supposed to come out in the spring. Do any stores carry the last batch made by K-Line now?

Nice stuff something to consider?

Sure…if you don’t mind 1 or 2 “roads” taking-up half of your layout space, with one truck/trolley/bus running on each. Joe

Pretty Cool!

I had planned my layout with 3 fairly large areas for town, industry and an amusement park. I cut out some templates and you would be surprised how easy it is to fit in 16 inch rad. roads. Most people are going to have roads of some sort anyway. Of course, much easier if you are in the plannning phase.

Just bought Lionel’s Fastrac accessory power wire #6-12053 and it fits the metal tabs underneath the 10 inch Super Street track.

Still waiting on curves!

What’s the link for the video? Are you looking on lionel’s site?

Go to the Lionel website then click on catalogs next click on K-Line by Lionel, the Super Streets should be on pages 3 to 6 of the K-Line section.

I went to LOTTS then to Lionel website.

Thanks. Once I got there I was able to find the links. I think this is a direct link
