A venue where you shall see the layout of the RockyMountainGardenRailway club of which members personal layouts were visited by Nancy N./GR in a June 2011 article !
Exhibitors: http://www.supertrain.ca/Exhibitors-Name-2013.html
{my biased summary… at least 3 vendors w/ G-gauge stock, another 3 all-scale vendors possibly with G’ at show, no apparent G-gauge manufacturers this yr. but at least 10 international manufacturers of MR equipment … }
I personally did not post on the trains.com events page this yr. !
Left it up to a small scales person to do that
Focused primarily just on G-gauge forum sites this yr. (and a little later this time) nor did I send out my seemingly annual reminder to over 30 g-gauge product suppliers about ST …done as a ‘just-in-case’ they were going to apply for boothspace or enhance their presence at a known attending vendor of their product).
Too bad though corp. Kalmbach can’t seem to make it across the border yet (and acquire a booth at ST) … when ya have 11k attendees a lot of new exposure . . . . .
Oh yeah, also what I have fd. perplexing is when I see on a ‘grocery’ shelf like every periodical from Kalbach including a special edition buuuut no “Garden Railways” !! I called Kalmbach/GR CS and all the CSR gave back was a ohhh well attitude and I would not miss GR if I subscribed lol ! I just reiterated that I was spending 10-15 min. calling to enlighten Kalmbach of a missing in their marketing … shucks when a u.s. based international chain stocked GR (at our neighbourhood outlet), all 6 units were sold within a week !! Then their vendor decided unilaterally to cease stocking GR and even the store mgr could not ‘force’ them to reconsider … what do ya do when end users actually promote a product but seemingly the manufacturer and their ‘supply chain’ loose the focus of supply/promotion (ultimately the hobby) !
how to = SUPERTRAIN (2013) !
