You dont know her she never posted here or had a subscription to MRR but she liked trains. She was in a club Called Womens Christian Temperance Union and she decided to use trains to help promote the WCTU’s teachings which is Dont do Drugs dont drink and dont smoke tobacco.
Just recently she gave us (My parents and me) permission to rebuild the old layout, she enjoyed watching it go around and enjoyed seeing the little kids faces light up watching it go around. She gave us the ok to spend money on the layout cause it did draw people to their paper work. Sadly she passed away This Past Saturday after years of battling Emphazima, and recently got lukemia… its sad to see someone who supported using Model Railroading to teach other teachings.
Not only was she the president of the Wisconsin division of WCTU , President of the Metro-Milwaukee Division of the WCTU but als became a close family friend of my parents and I.
