‘Surf Line’ bridge construction to begin in August
SoCal rail photographer, please get shots of these wooden trestles before they’re gone! I recall riding over these in 1969 aboard an AT&SF San Diegan.
Will miss the wooden trestles, but the worst “improvement” to the Surfline was the removal of the Santa Fe truss bridge south of the rest area.
