Question: Is BN-1&BN2 FL9’s? And where are they?

BN1 & 2 are E-8’s and are in the collection of the Illinois Railway Museum, Union, IL.

I can’t even begin to understand how LIRR could scrap its 3 FL9-AC’s - or why they would.
