Good Day,
I present today the 21st Century Chesapeake and Ohio ES44AC! The dark blue and yellow makes for a striking view. I’d like to see this color scheme in HO.
How does it look?

Swafford

looks good to me! Take the color scheme and put it on a Dash 9-44cw and forward it to Athearn, they have done a Chessie version as a fantisy paint scheme. I would love to see the C&O rise again, I cant stand CSX.
As a old C&O man : NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
As a modeler very nice.
Lots of guys have taken a fallen flag and brought it up into the present like the line survived or was re-spun off from a class 1 to become its own line again. My old C&O Alco RSD5’s are more to his liking probably. My wife is a huge Chessie System fan, while I like the older C&O power. Mike
I like it, Swafford. Definitely a railroad that should have stuck around longer.
Not bad at all, I like that. For my tastes though, I’d reduce that yellow band a hair. Something makes it look rather obtrusive, and I’m not sure if it’s the color or the width. I’ve decided my railroad is going to be Chessie, not CSX. Seeing the C&O live might be a tempting idea though.
An old C&O man doesn’t want to see the C&O?
I agree just a little less yellow --maybe a thin blue in the middle of the yellow
Looks very sharp
I was thinking that the large yellow stripe was a sop to the corporate lawyers who are trying to avoid grade-crossing lawsuits…
Sorry I know this is off post but when I read the header on your post I thought it said “cheese cake” no disrespect , just hungry at lunch time [dinner]
Good Day,
Presenting version II of the Chesapeake and Ohio ES44AC. (Smaller Yellow Band).

I would have said stick with the first one when first reading the post but I like your updated one a lot better once I saw it… Great job. Would love to see either one turned into a model [Y][Y]
Good Day Gentlemen,
Thank you for the compliments. I’m working on one additional Chesapeake and Ohio color scheme for the ES44AC. I hope you like my imagination at work.
