Person injured / cut. EMS, First Responders on scene since 9pm CST. I am in Marceline and tried to get many pictures however they were all of very poor quality due to poor lighting and some light rain.
Person cut? It must have been something serious for them to stop like that. Ironically, about a decade ago the Southwest Chief would have stopped in Marceline anyways…
Interesting that you should bring this up, because a similar thing occured in June on train #4. The Chief made an emergency stop in Gorin, Missouri after a passenger on the train died. I happened to be there railfanning at the time and got video of the whole occurance.
