I was wondering if someone could direct me to plans regarding a hindged lift bridge with appropriate wiring
Thanks, Grenada
Sorry, I meant a bridge to let me in and out of the room, I’m new to forums and computers.

Here’s a web site with a picture of a great swing opening to a train room.

The March 1998 issue of Model Railroader has an excellent article on how to build a swinging gate. I built this gate for my railroad and it works great. If you don’t have this issue, I believe you can order from MR or your public library might have it.

Lift out is the easy way to do it IMHO,Bill has an web site that he posted that works.[#welcome][#welcome] To the forum,On my last layout I used an lift out
If you look real hard you can see the edges ; left and right.,every thing is glued down on this section.I put an faceing on the board on each side(1X4)of the main table, put the lift out in,then drilled four holes through the lift out into the faceings inserted dowell in to the holes,Removed the lift out and glued the dowell in.sit lift out back in,“worked like a charm”
Wireing;I ran wires from each side of the lift out to an plug under the lift out.from the main track.
