Swiss rail line closed by rockslide

Based upon the service that is interrupted, this is south of Arth-Goldau, but Gurtnellen is not in the printed public timetable so can’t tell exactly where the blockage is (between which stations that get rail service.

O/OS for a month? So much for Swiss efficiency! Buy your cheese elsewhere!

Gurtnellen is the first station to the north of Wassen. Several years ago local trains were terminated south of Erstfeld and replaced with hourly bus service as far as Goschenen coordinated to the train schedules at Erstfeld.

Local traffic is not the issue here.
There are hundreds of trains, Euro City, Inter City, Regional Express Passenger trains as well as heavy international freight trains.
Frequency averages about one train every 6-8 minutes. 24/7
I wonder how the Simplon Line is going to be able to handle all the detours.
