Switch Available for "Scientific Toys" G - Train?

Hi,

I have two sets of Scientific Toys G - Scale Train Sets. I combined the track to make a super-sized track system. My 16 month-old daughter loves it!

Question - Is there a switch that is compatable to use with this track (Scientific Toys)? I don’t think Scientific Toys made them.

Thanks,
John

Ebay , look under New Bright, same plastic track, I’m pretty sure they made turnouts.

John,

Playmobil makes a Cross Over Track (#4390), Lt. Hand Switch (#4388), and Rt. Hand Switch (#4389). With a little modification, they will work with New Bright and Scientific Toy track.

Thank you for everyone’s help!

The Scientific Toys and Echo/NewBright are “opposite” ie if you try to connect them you have female to female and male to male vice female/male- what I did to combine them is take one of each brand, stack them, and cut thru both, join one end of each together and you have two transition tracks. Supposedly Scientific’s web site says they make switches but I have never seen them-I use the New Brights switches–warning note: if you go on ebay to buy New Bright turnouts or points do not confuse New Bright “switch tracks” (a track that engages the ON-OFF switch on the bottom of the engine) with what you are looking for - turnout/points/ a track that switch the train from one track to another.
