Switch lamp and marker lens colors ??

They’re bluish lenses, but they’re called “lunar white” in the rulebooks. CNW used them opposite yellow on many yard switches, and the colored metal discs around the lenses were white, not blue.

In our classification bowl, switches are either white (normal) or amber (reverse). The white is a clear lens.

And the reason lunar white lenses are slightly blue is so that they won’t look yellow in the distance or haze…
