I am looking for sites pertaining to switching puzzles, and or, just layouts. I did have a couple on puzzles but seem to have missplaced them…
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you, Ken Ison

Here’s a few.

The earlier suggestion of Carl Arendt’s website is a good one.
A good overview of the two “classic” switching layouts, the Timesaver and the Inglenook, is found at:
http://www.wymann.info/ShuntingPuzzles/
On-line versions of these puzzles you can operate are at:
http://www.precisionlabels.com/shunt/home.html
IMHO, both of these are more railroad-themed puzzles than models of a railroad. I wrote a bit about some of the things that make a switching layout more realistic and interesting in the long term on my website.
Peter White, author of the excellent Waybills program, has a site describing his own mid-size switching layout as well as ideas for smaller layouts:

There are also some switching layouts on the “Gallery” pages of my website.
Have fun!
