T tracker tool?

I see ads in the back of CTT mag with only an email address. Has anyone used the tool shown to put track tightly together?

I can’t imagine using a tool like that for such a simple task. It seems like something that one would need only if handicapped, as by arthritis.

The T tracker address is in the ad: “Dept. 2, 3735 N.E. Shaver St, Portland OR 97212”.

Ive never used one but am told they work well. However, I’ve just sent for their literature and it sells for about $170.00.

That’s pretty pricey. But maybe they’re hoping to sell just one.

I have to agree with Bob Nelson’s comments, the T tracker is just tooo expensive for me to justify buying!!

You can use a flat tip screw driver to open the tracks at connections and a needle nose pliers to squeeze the rail tighter. Also for tubular track like O gauge and 027 I use track clips to keep the track in place better, even though most of my 027 is screwed down to the plywood I think it helps a little with electrical connections for the outside rails.
