Has anybody heard any new news on the T55 SD70Ace project?
T55 went belly-up.

There have been reports that T55 went out of business, but their web site is still up and makes no reference to whether or not they have called it quits.
Doubtful, at least based on what I understand. IE: That they are the plastic division of Overland Brass. And I would expevct that Overland would have to croak in order for them to go.
Let me put it another way…
We have ordered 15 T55 units for customers. We have been informed that they wont be able to fill the order…belly up.

As of today we are still paying for the T55 ACe mold…they can’t put the nail in the coffin yet…we are still breathing.

Thanks Don!!! I never hurts to call or e-mail the manufacturer directly instead of making hasty and unwarrranted assumptions.
I figured he would update with something after saw you e-mailed him (I phoned Mr Marsh today to find out what is going on). Sounds like it may be a little bit of a wait, but all good things come in time…
I just e-mailed Brian to inquire if he plans on re-running the GE ES44’s and will post once I hear more.
