Shouldn’t the headline read “affected”? DPM wouldn’t be a happy camper.
This is sad day for North Shore Mining again. I worked there in the 70’s when it was Reserve Mining Co.
Quite odd to hear this… Wisconsin was sappose to open a 2000 employee taconite mine north state, but couldnt get lawmakers to go with it, i thought this was a little boom for buisness. Wisconsin Is now a major sand exporter for fraching oil and gas, Wisconsin northern a 98% sand railroad with close to 1500 car/loads per week leaving via UP.
