Hello all, I’ve recently read another thread talking about trustworthy sites, and since I have my eye on something Tag Trains has, I would like to know if anyone has past experiences with them. The prices almost seem too good to be true.
Since I may be getting a locomotive, I am wondering how the packaging is, and about how fast it takes to ship an item. [:D]
I’ve never bought from them, but they are all over Facebook, they have a “brick-n-morter” store, with a phone number and an address, and they have a 99.6% rating on Ebay.
I just looked at their Ebay store, I didn’t see any exceptional prices, about the same as other vendors.

I’ve bought a few things without incident. They also travel with train shows occasionally and their prices usually beat other vendors.
They have come to Milwaukee’s Trainfest several times and I have purchased stuff from them with no complaint. In fact I think they are signed up for 2019 Trainfest.
Of course that says nothing about how they are with mail order but they are real people selling real inventory and have been at it for some years.

I’ve had several great experiences with tag trains.
Its been several years since I bought from Tag Trains, but all my experience with them has been positive. Prices are good, shipping is reasonable and quick.
