Great video, and close to where I live. Is there also a yard near the paper mill plus the yard in the video or are they one and the same?

Thanks for this video. I really enjoyed it. One of the better ones that I’ve seen.

…I too, enjoyed the video.

The music destroys the environmental sounds but this is one of the better videos.

I like how that horn valve looks when the enginer is blowing the horn.

Excellent. Thank you.

I been with Youtube for a while but it is only this year that I discovered the REAL purpose of it.

This one has been added to my growing list of favorites. [8D]

Thank you.

This was excellent. It had a professional feel to it, and the Blues Traveler sound track added to the experience, as I viewed it. [tup]

I always thought your name-Northtowne was in reference to BNSF’s Northtowne yard in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

What is the switchman doing, after he first gets on the train, and lifts a yellow handle with his right hand?

He’s opening the knuckle so he can make a coupling.

Northtown.

Yes, you’re right. But, there is a green BNSF locomotive I see in the local yard here sometimes, that has “NORTHTOWNE” stenciled on it very sloppily.

A good video, but need to kill the bippity-bop music so we can hear the railroad sounds.
