They could use a bit more real estate to put down more track. As it is, one lap takes 3 minutes (or more if there are any kids standing on the rails at a crossing. But for $2.50 you get to ride for 3 laps.
They will be having a dedication ceremony for the new depot this Saturday, 10-10-09 at 11:00 AM. If I can find my “cowboy boots” I’ll be one of the “victims” for the “armed bandits” to rob. All depends on if the wife is doing well enough for me to be out of the house that long.
We didn’t get a chance to visit the new depot up close during the club’s annual picnic, but what we saw of it looked really nice. Too bad the steam loco was out of commission that day too; I was hoping to shoot some video.
