For the 2016 Season the trolley will run to the following Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders games at PNC field:

Sunday, May 8th - Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs
Sunday, May 15th - Indianapolis Indians
Sunday, June 5th - Columbus Clippers
Sunday, June 19th - Gwinnett Braves
Sunday, July 10th - Rochester Red Wings
Sunday, July 24th - Durham Bulls
Sunday, August 7th - Syracuse Chiefs
Sunday, August 21st - Pawtucket Red Sox
Monday, September 5th - Syracuse Chiefs

All Sunday Game Times are 1:05 PM and the Trolley Departs 12:15 PM at Steamtown Platform. Monday September 5th Game Time is 12:05 PM and the Trolley Departs 11:15 AM.

Excursion price is $20.00 per person and includes the following:
A trolley ride to the Stadium boarding in downtown Scranton at the Steamtown Platform.
Baseball admission ticket.
$2.00 Voucher for Concession Stand or Team Store.
Return trolley ride to downtown Scranton.

All ticket sales are through the museum and reservations are required. Please call the Museum at (570) 963-6590 for further information and the necessary reservations.

  1. The oldest operating streetcar line is the St. Charles Line in New Orleans if one includes operation prior to electrification.

  2. From date of electrification, the oldest operating streetcar line is the portion of the MBTA’s “C” Greeen Line, Beacon Street, between the St. Mary’s St. Subway portal and Coolidge Corner, Harvard Ave. (or Street?) car stop.

  3. The Scranton Streetcar runs on the RoW of the Laural Line, the Lackawann and Wyoming Valley interurban, which was third rail, not trolley wire like the current musuem operation, except in Willksbarre.
