How would you model tall grass in N scale.
I saw an article for HO grass where they took fake fur and dyed it green. But in N scale I need something smaller and finer. Any suggestions?
The Idea is to look like prarie grass or even “amber waves of grain”.

Depends on how much tall grass you want. You can use fake fur and old hair clippers to cut it to n-scale hieght.
I’m not being funny or smart aleky - just buy whatever looks good and cut it to the size you want. It will work just fine …

I like the suggestion in the landscape clinic. Take fake fur die to color, spread glue on you layout. glue down the fake fur. Then using an Xacto knife pull back the fur and cut to length.
