Tall Timber Counrty

Thats right, all work and no play makes Marty a tired soul…

Fair day for railfanning. Headed to the Highline and waited out to see what comes up,or is it down???

Stll patches of snow up here in the mountains. love the smell of tall timber.

Aload of empties came out of Duncan Tunnel with a pair of Dash 9s working to slow the train down on the 2.5% grade.

Good thing it was going slow, i made it to the HighLine Bridge on the west side of the line.

Pair of 9s was maintaining control over the long consist.

I’m hoping for a plupwood train loaded but nothing. :frowning:
Love outdoor model railroading!!![^]

Cool pics. Where did the bridge come from on the sigpic?

Personally I always thought those centerbeam flatcars with the oval shaped windows or port holes (whatever you wanna call `em) looked better empty . Those are some very nice pics.

Just my luck, nature calls and I’m behind a tree when another train flies around the corner.

Very short train and I get stuck in the mud crossing the ditch. :frowning:

I think they are called opera style?? not sure tho.
The bridge in the sig is 7 around 750ft long in 1:29th made of steel. The rotary is clearing the bridge.
